Your relentless efforts to get the best out of each child entrusted to you have not gone unnoticed. In our very hectic lives we seldom get the opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks for a job well done. Unfortunately in today’s world too many people expect too much from others and repay with too little appreciation. And so I wish to let you all know how much I am in awe of your exceptional hard work to make our school LEGENDARY as the highest achieving decile 5 secondary school in history; the only decile 5 school to be both Confucius Classroom and Cambridge International Examinations accredited. Thank you to each and every one of you. Together you are a formidable team and make or School well worthy of the title; “HOME OF CHAMPIONS”. I remain your admiring, and highly appreciative principal:
Thank you for letting me spend my lunch breaks in your classroom when my friends were at band practice. Thank you for helping me realize that I can (& should) question the status quo and stand up for what I believe in. Thank you for the encouragement that lead me to the path of believing in myself. Thank you for introducing me to Punk bands I had never heard of.

Thank you for always going the extra mile for your students, pushing us to aim high and do the best we can in life. Your hard work is evident in the history we created at McAuley with the outstanding results produced by your classes and the girls you taught. We appreciate all that you did and continue to do years after we have left school. Thank you for caring Reymer, you are a beautiful soul and an iconic woman I aspire to be.
To the man who lived his teachings by example and never passed up an opportunity to educate, inspire and help not only students but those around him, we thank you. Thank you for reminding me the importance of being a Tama’ita’i Samoa, living and practicing our aganu’u ma le gagana fa’asamoa. I’m thankful we crossed paths and to have been a Samoan student of yours because I walked away knowing and having learnt so much more than what I started with. Faafetai Tauanu’u, mo lou finau ma lou naunau ia matou malamalama I le gagana fa’asamoa fa’apea fo’i tu ma aga o le atunu’u aua so matou lumanai manuia. Moomooga lelei mo oe le tama.
