Meads, you taught me how to look at the world in a different way. You taught me to think critically by being aware of the biased lenses we see some issues through. You taught me to challenge assumptions and that just because something is the status quo doesn’t mean that it is right. You passionately shared with us the wonders of New Zealand history and the heroes and characters that have formed this country. Thank you for always pushing me and forever inspiring your students.
